Lord, I want to thank you for this day that you have allowed me to live, for every moment in which I felt loved by you.
Thank you, because in every second of this day, I felt your company by my side.
Thank you because you have made me think that I am not a being called to failure or pain or suffering but that you have called me to be happy.
Give me the possibility to discover every day the reasons I have, to understand that you are giving me the best and that I have to enjoy it and live it.
I want to ask you to give me the grace to understand the things that happen to me, which many times have no explanation and in my eagerness to find one, I only wear myself out and therefore lose sight of what is really important.
Allow me to stand up so I can fight every existential fight in my life, understanding that I do not fight alone, but I count on your protection and your help when my strength runs out.
I trust that my life being in your hands is safe, and nothing and no one can harm me or take away the ability to choose what to do with my story.
That's the best thing I have: my freedom.
I ask that while I sleep you continue to give me what I need so that tomorrow I will be ready, to continue doing what drives me to be fully happy.
Please give me a quiet rest tonight.
